We are very delighted to share about our participation in the India Mobile Congress (IMC) 2020, schedules from December 8 - 10 at New Delhi (Virtually!). IMC is South Asia's largest Digital Technology Event with over 15,000+ visitors, 3,000+ CXO’s, 60+ partners & exhibitors, 20+ start-ups, 110+ speakers, 28 Conference Sessions, 30 Hours of Content and 500Mn+ Social Media Impressions. The event was inaugurated on 8th December by the respected Prime Minister of India. This year IMC hosted booths (virtual) for nearly 170 companies including academic organizations, industry and Telecom. companies.

Big companies (Top 40 Canadian Companies, Telecom. Sectors like JIO, Airtel, Ericsson, Red Hat, CISCO, Nokia, and many more) and world- recognized industry personnel like Mr. Mukesh Ambani (Head of Reliance JIO), Mr. Sunil Bharti Mittal (Director of Airtel), CEO of KPMG, Minister of Telecommunications and other respected persons were also present as a part of the IMC 2020.

Annesya and Achal from JU UAV Innovators' Lab were invited by the Department of Telecommunications (DoT), Government of India to exhibit our key project "Listener Drone: A 5G Use Case for Environment, Public Safety and Disaster Management" at the IMC 2020. We represented Jadavpur University at this Global event. A separate Booth has been assigned exclusively for Jadavpur University during the IMC 2020 and have shared the exhibition hall with organizations like IIT Delhi, Infosys, Wipro, CDAC, etc. Our team from Jadavpur University has successfully exhibited their project at the exhibition with 100+ attendees from academia and industry at their booth over the 3-days period and have received very positive feedback from all of them.
5G Hackathon Announcement at IMC 2020
Here, we will also take the opportunity to announce our selection in the 5G Hackathon organized by the Government of India. Out of more than 4000 submissions from India and abroad and from all different sectors, including academia, industry, corporate sectors, the project by JU UAV Innovators' Lab has been selected among the TOP 30 projects. And we hope to even better in future days!
